*********** NEWS UPDATE***********
The REFORM PARTY SELECTS
ME AS THEIR VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE. (Causing questions about my
current Presidential bid.)
As Mark Twain would say,
the reports of the death of my Presidential Campaign have been
exaggerated.
At the Reform Party Convention, held recently in Dallas, TX, I
was selected to be their Vice Presidential Candidate to run on the
ticket with Ted Weill, the Presidential candidate. I am honored to
accept this nomination and see this as an important step in uniting the
various third party groups around the country into a stronger, more
effective voice.
To that end, I am continuing my independent run for president in the
other states in which the Reform Party does not have ballot access. I firmly believe the answer for a better America is in a strong,
viable third party that will address the views and needs of the Moderate
Majority Americans being ignored by the Democrats and Republicans.
I want to reiterate that I am still the New American Independent Party
Presidential candidate for the 2008 election and have discussed this
strategy at length with Michael Thompson the Chairman of the NAIP.
We are continuing our ballot access efforts and hope that this latest
development will help our message to be heard in more states. Thank you
for your continued support.

TIME TO COMPARE &
CONTRAST |
The primaries
are over, many have dropped out, a few of us remain. While I don't
have the deep pockets like my rivals, I'd put my position on the issues
up against theirs any day of the week.
. In
fact, here is a chart that does just that. If you agree with me,
please let me know by helping however you can. Help me get on your
state's ballot, donate what you can (even $5 helps!) or just spread the
word to your friends and co-workers. |

The Issues |
|
McEnulty's View |
|
McCain's View |
|
Obama's View |
|
Taxes |
|
The country
needs to move towards a simpler, taxation structure to make it easier
for people to pay their taxes, and to determine that everyone is paying
their fair share.
. |
|
Veto any tax
increase; worst thing now is to raise taxes.
Require a 3/5 majority vote in Congress to raise taxes.
Tax system is fair; wealthy pay bulk of taxes. |
|
I'm not bashful about it: wealthy will pay more taxes.
No tax increase if earning under $250K; tax cuts under
$75K.
Raise capital gains tax for fairness, not for revenue.
|
|
Military |
|
“Walk softly and carry a big stick” I propose that
we stick to that advice by greatly reducing our presence overseas and
focusing our attention on the defense of our country.
. |
|
Costs will be
far greater should we fail in Iraq.
Timetable for withdrawal is a white flag of surrender.
Reducing military presence has never in history won a war. |
|
The Iraq war
has undermined our security.
$2.7 billion each week of Iraq spending is unsustainable.
Get our troops out by the end of 2009. |
|
Healthcare |
|
It is the middle class that is being unfairly burdened
with health care costs. Between the costs of often frivolous
liability lawsuits and taking care of large numbers of illegal aliens,
the healthcare system is being burdened with a tremendous amount of
extra expenses.
.
|
|
Harness market competition for comprehensive reform.
Preserve quality of health care by individual
responsibility.
No mandated universal system; no mandated insurance
coverage. |
|
No need to
mandate coverage; just let people afford it.
Believes health care is a right, not a privilege for the few.
Tackle insurance companies on reimbursement system. |
|
Gun Control |
|
I believe that further gun control or ownership issues are more properly
addressed on the state and local level.
.... |
|
Opposes restrictions on assault
weapons and ammunition types.
Prosecute criminals, not
citizens for gun ownership.
Don't hold gun manufacturers
liable for crimes.
. |
|
Respect 2nd Amendment, but local gun bans ok.
Ban semi-automatics, and more possession restrictions.
Ok for states & cities to determine local gun laws.
|
|
Immigration |
|
I am all for legal immigration which is accomplished in a rational,
planned way. The current wave of illegal immigrants are causing a
serious strain on our social system.
. |
|
Deport 2 million illegal
immigrants who committed crimes.
Certify border is secure; only then allow guest workers.
Do everything I can to help all immigrants learn
English. |
|
Deporting 12 million people is ridiculous and
impractical.
Immigrants are scapegoats for high unemployment rates.
Illegals shouldn't work; but should have path to
citizenship. |
